Mike was not able to post and asked if I would put his post in... so here it is :)
I could not possibly hope to name all those who I came to know, respect, and care for through my time spent in this ladder. It was a special part of my life for years, and leaves memories that will be cherished.
Thank you to all those - ops, opps, teammates, and friends - who helped give so much much enjoyment for those years during which the ladder endured. A few simple words can never hope to convey the love and admiration I have for so many here.
The breakup of the online community is no easier on those involved than would be the demolition of a small town. We are now evacuees, looking for homes. Some of us may move to the same new town, while others may never be seen again.
If some chance allows us to meet again, our greetings may be simple. But know that my simple hello would represent a deep heartfelt joy in greeting a long lost friend again.
