Wow!!!

Just got out of hospital (back surgery)and had a friend move the computer to my bed side so I could play spades (while I attempt to heal). Finally I feel well enough to play and I be damned if I dont have a league to play in. NO Spades, NO Golf and No Sex geez do i feel fluked.

I Guess it comes to no surprise to me that cases would not support this ladder they never really did before so why would they now?

I think many if not most of us (esp me too) can also take part of the blame for the demise of this ladder(before the mini comeback). We couldnt leave well enough alone, Couldnt quit the stupid bickering, couldnt get cheaters banned or rank manipulation issues settled, couldnt ignore adult language/conversation in our lobby or at tables (even language or implied sexual acts that are on prime tv by the major networks every night of the week), out of control +'s, and etc...... So in all honestly when we look back at all the fond memories of the past (some really great ones too) we should also realize that it we the players of the past that ulimately were the demise of this Ladder (Well at least thats how I feel).

I have never really gotten into the spirit of sit and play. I personally found it very boring where the good players simply padded their own personal stats beating up on the weaker players and teams instead of really playing for "The Team". I know I'm a pretty fair player but lets get real please there is know way in hell anybody would have played at 70% in old room for 500+ games now how in the heck did i manage that in 2 sit and play ladders?

Times have changed and so have we!!! There is so much more one is able to do with their online time now with PC gaming that I doubt there will ever be the popularity or competition in spades ladders that there once was.

I guess I've been in the process of walking away from this game for almost 2 years and I wreckin that will continue. Ohhh you'll see me from time to time but life is changing for me and I have new things to explore and enjoy.
