Personally, I would ignore the request, and keep the buddy players. So long as the proper member of the team always issues the report, no one needs to log in under the buddy name. For that reason, Cases system would be unable to detect multiple usage of one name.

Of course, should this ladder die altogether, then I'll have to seriously consider not renewing my annual membership when it's due next month. I feel dirty making such a threat, but since this league was starting to become active, it was saving my platinum from its redundant state. Of course, I'm just a small drop in a massive ocean, and my absence will mean nothing to this company, but it seems the only way I can voice my sheer disgust at the total pettiness of this situation.
