: : There have been some questions regarding the proper way to get games. : At this point we are a sit and play ladder. All games are to be started by announcing Open table. : You may request a variation of the default game. i.e. NDN at table 3. After thumbs up you should state this is a NDN and if not agreed on there should be a reseat making the game void. : A rematch is ok. However prior to any match always announce open table in the lobby. : Before you sit with players at a table make sure that game has been announced in the lobby. : When an open table is announced in lobby for a certain kind of game please make sure that game has been taken prior to opening for a game of the same kind. : These are simple common courtesy guidelines that make for smooth playing of games. : So many of us have been around a long time and have brought back a wealth or knowledge about what will make a room succeed or fail. Let’s hope we have learned from our mistakes and brought with us experience that can help us grow and prosper. : Add that to the enthusiasm from the new players we have the start of an exciting cases ladder once again. : We, as a room, should be able to decide how to proceed with the getting and playing of games as we grow as a ladder. Hopefully we will be able to operate with as few rules as possible. : : Your Op team
